About the photographer

Joe Page (Alain Leroy) was born in Pas de Calais (northern France) and went to the South of France in the late 70’s. Although he had many jobs in his life, his interest and main past time was photography. It was only a matter of time and opportunity that this past time would now become his profession.
His visual perception is astonishing as he captures the true essence of the natural world. His pictures vibrate with energy and you find yourself being drawn into their realm. His subject area is vast, and ranges from the mysterious, to nature in its raw state, through to fabulous cascades of the Pyrenean waterfalls and on to the pure abstract fields of rock formations.
